However, Aravind Srinivas, President of Perplexity AI, asserts that chatbots are outdated. He emphasizes that the world doesn't need another clone of OpenAI's flagship AI model.
"We want to make it clear to the end user that we're not here to sell yet another chatbot or an alternative to ChatGPT," Srinivas conveyed to Unscramble. "Our purpose is to help find answers to any question, and that's why we refer to [Perplexity] as a response engine."
