The largest distribution is currently in Kapuas Hulu and also several other areas such as Ketapang, Sintang, Sekadau, and Sambas.

"As a crop that has high economic value and is one of the export commodities with a potential of hundreds of billions per year. However, so far, several issues related to quality are one of the obstacles that are often faced by farmers and business actors in this sector," he said.

"Such as the presence of bacterial contamination (E. Coli, Salmonella etc), heavy metal contamination (heavy metal: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium etc), to the specifications of the mitragynine content value required by buyers in the destination country which results in low selling prices and even unilateral cancellations that harm business actors," he said.

For this reason, he said, his party initiated to facilitate farmers and business actors by presenting a kratom quality test facility called Sentarum Laboratory.

This laboratory has been equipped with complete equipment and test equipment with qualified human resources in their fields. "We also hope that this facility can contribute and be open to research and development purposes of kratom quality in the future," he concluded.
